This privacy policy (the “Policy”) sets out the personal data processing activities conducted by SGI-Aviation Services B.V. and its affiliated companies (collectively, SGI).

We understand that privacy is important to you and we treat personal data in line with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  1. What data do we collect and for what purpose?

We process personal data only for lawful purposes including the performance of agreements, the pursuit of our legitimate interests and compliance with legal obligations.

  • Enquiries: We collect and process your name and email address as well as any other personal data voluntarily submitted by you when you make an enquiry through our general email address info@sgiaviation.com or through our “contact us” page. We collect this personal data to process your enquiry. We keep this information in electronic format for 6 months after the initial enquiry has been processed to facilitate any necessary follow-up.
  • Customers and Suppliers: We collect and process names and email addresses of contact persons of our customers and suppliers for the purpose of the provision of our services. We save this personal data for as long as we need them to provide our services and for a maximum period of 2 years thereafter.
  • Job Applicants: We collect and process the personal data submitted to us in connection with a job application to determine whether or not to invite a candidate for an interview and whether or not to hire a candidate. In the event a candidate is not hired, we delete the personal data after a period of 3 months unless we have the candidate’s consent to keep the personal data on file to contact such candidate in the future about job openings.
  • Website Visit: When you access our website, your browser may automatically transmit certain technical information to our web server. This typically includes but is not limited to your IP address; the date and time of access; the requested URL / page; HTTP status code (e.g. success/error) the amount of data transferred; referring page (if any); browser type and version and operating system and device information. This information is stored in server log files by our hosting provider. We do not use this information to identify you personally, except where this is necessary to investigate incidents that impact the security or proper operation of the website.

We only share your personal data where necessary and in accordance with data protection law. Typical recipients include:

  • IT and hosting providers who operate and maintain our website and related infrastructure
